Hi, I’m Simon McDermott. I am mainly Irish with a little Belgian for good measure. I am now an entrepreneur but have previously cut my teeth in sales with Cisco Systems and Intel Corporation.
I started listening technology company Attentio with Per in 2004 and am now a director there.
I recently founded New Media Cloud, a company that helps major companies leverage, measure, and understand new media such as social media.
I have worked with many of the world’s largest brands on the development of listening strategy and methodologies to better engage with their stakeholders and measure their campaigns. I also advise new companies like Jam Publishing and 365Research.
